Fennimore Frog was a wily chiseler who often tried to take advantage of the dull witted Dunbar Dodo but almost invariably came off worst.

Years after their last regular appearance, Fennimore fought the Zoo Crew as the monstrous Frogzilla. Dunbar also appeared in the story, now the Captain of a cruise ship.
